The combination of helical compressors and high pressure boosters allows a high flow in small dimensions. The compression occurs in 3 or 5 stages that allow low compression temperatures.
Thanks to the water-directed cooling of the intercoolers and aftercoolers and cylinder heads, most of the thermal energy is absorbed by the cooling water.
In this way, high pressure industrial compressors are extremely easy to maintain, have a long service life, and at the same time are quieter than equivalent air-cooled compressors. These compressors are specially designed for continuous operation in industrial environments and tough applications.
