FEATURES
ARO® EXP Series diaphragm pumps include all the benefits of standard pneumatic pumps, but with considerable additional features and benefits.
EXP pumps are compatible with automation systems
All EXP Series pumps have electronic interfaces that allow precise, electronically controlled dosing. Combine our pump with the ARO controller or a PLC or PC-based system and make the leap from inaccurate and inefficient manual processes to intelligent fluid handling.
- The EXP Series pumps are compatible with almost any automation system.
- Pumps with electronic interface are now available for hazardous environments (ATEX, NEC, and CEC certifications).
- Leak detection option, certified for use in ATEX / NEC / CEC environments, detects diaphragm failure to help prevent costly service interruptions.
- The internal cycle sensor and limit switches provide limit switch feedback and other pump information.
- Components come pre-assembled, making installation easy and reducing errors.
TECHNICAL DATA
The ARO® controller and electronic interface pumps are ideal for a wide variety of applications, such as dosing and filling containers and tanks in different markets.
AUTOMATION SYSTEMS

SAFE CONTROL AND SUPERVISION
ARO electronic interface pumps are suitable for use in gas and dusty environments, including applications in regions subject to ATEX directives and US standards. Connect the pump to the ARO controller outside the hazard zone to control and monitor your processes more safely.
INSTALLATION
Installation summary for hazardous areas:
- Operate the pump in the following hazardous areas: NEC / CEC: Classes I and II, Div. 1 and 2 Group AD ATEX: Zones 1 and 2, 21 and 22.
- Hazardous area electrical components allow installation in hazardous areas.
- Connect the supplied sensors and barrier devices according to local code requirements.
- Install the controller and barrier devices in an enclosure suitable for hazardous environments or outside the hazardous area
Use the ARO ® controller or your own PLC controller
- Remote triggers and alerts allow you to send operational data, perform an automatic shutdown, and keep you informed of maintenance needs.
- The controller supports leak detection, liquid level measurement, and proportional control.
- The ARO® Controller integrates seamlessly with the EXP Series of electronic interface pumps.
- Control of multiple pumps for two-part batch processes.
