There is a wide range of Ingersoll Rand air starters that meet the highest quality standards in the market. Unlike electric starters, Ingersoll Rand starters are capable of constantly generating the speeds and torques needed to start industrial motors in whatever field they are operating in.
Ingersoll Rand offers two types of air starters, depending on the user’s needs:
Turbine Starters:
- They require no lubrication
- Ease of field service
- Best size-to-power ratio
- Higher torque at higher working speed
- Working pressure: 30-120 psi
- Speed up to 60,000 rpm
For beginner paddlers:
- Lubrication required
- Higher torque at lower working speed
- Lower starting torque (75% of starting torque of an equivalent turbine starter)
- Air consumption increases with time of use
- Working Pressure: 80 – 250 psi
- Speed up to 6,000 rpm
Some of their most commonly used models are:
