Its low center of gravity and the sophisticated design with special dampers and robust damping elements make the BAUER KOMPRESSOREN KAP-HN series the ideal installation for continuous operation in the toughest marine applications.

Due to their horizontal mounting, they require only minimal bearing surface, and can be used even in large undulations and extremely inclined positions.

Thanks to very robust compressor blocks and piston rings made of a newly developed high-tech plastic, as well as cylinders subjected to plasma nitriding and horizontal grinding, wear is practically history. For high corrosion resistance, the intermediate and rear coolers are made of stainless steel.
